Interior Design Project : Clarity in Contrast
When Holly visited this customer's house, this is what she saw :
Modern and bright front rooms, full of sleek and elegant furniture.
With the hopes of infusing two distinct personalities into them, the clients approached Holly for help, armed with ideas and some images from Pinterest for inspiration.
Using mood boards and floor plans, Holly was able to help them create a vibrant vision for the colour palettes of each of the rooms that they could then begin to work with.
Both rooms clearly had two different personalities. As the living room embraced brighter tones with more modern furniture, the clients wanted the other room to be a calming and tranquil snug room that led out into the garden and was complemented by tones of nature.
Holly set to work on these briefs, trying to bring the clients' ideas to life in their home.
To liven up the spaces and inject them with a touch of sophistication, Holly recommended furniture, lighting and accessories from Roomes as well.
Having successfully fit the briefs given to her for both the rooms - with maximalist, contrasting tones in the first room and neutral, calm shades in the second; the result Holly achieved was appreciated.
"Although they were hesitant on some of the choices, they trusted in me as a designer and were ultimately delighted with the transformation," she says.
